South Bay - Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz is at the north end of Monterey Bay and famous for two things - The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and California Surfing.

Fun in Santa Cruz begins at the beach. It has over 14 state parks, wineries, museums, farmer's markets - there is plenty of things to choose from. Besides the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (another Dirty Harry filming location) you can take a ride back in time at Roaring Camp Railroads, the Santa Cruz Wharf (great fish and chips and seafood), University of California Santa Cruz and load of other things.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - Built in 1907 as the "Coney Island of the West Coast. It features two historic landmarks - the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster and the Looff Carousel. There are over 40 rides and the attraction.
